Our School

Message from the Headteacher

We believe that learning should be a pleasurable experience and that an enjoyment for learning should be nurtured. Our children’s achievement in Literacy, Numeracy and Science is very good. However, we strongly believe in developing the whole child and encourage success in all areas of study. We believe that learning is a life-long process and we are developing a personalised approach to learning with a rich, innovative and creative curriculum. Children have opportunities to explore, question and acquire new skills with an appropriate degree of support and challenge.

Developing our pupils’ technological ability is also very important and we ensure this by providing the children with access to the latest technology including laptops, Interactive whiteboards and digital recording devices.

We have strong links with All Saints’ Church in Hursley and through our strong Christian ethos, we develop our pupils’ spiritual and emotional well-being. We recognise and celebrate our similarities and differences and help our pupils to become kind, caring and considerate members of the community.

We pride ourselves on our ability to nurture our pupils’ individual talents and we strongly encourage our children to master these further. We have our own football and netball teams, orchestra and choir and we are always looking to provide additional opportunities to provide the very best for our children.

We believe it is a good working partnership with parents that brings about the greatest success for children. We welcome parents in to school and value their contribution.

Whether you are currently a parent, pupil or new to our school, we hope you will enjoy using this site.
